Monatol: Films Quest · Effective 2026-10-05

Monatol: Films Quest ("the app", "the Service") is a free app, provided at no cost and intended for use as is. This page explains how information is collected, used and disclosed when you use the Service.

By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. We do not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.

Information Collection and Use

The app does not require an account and never asks you for personally identifiable information. What you create while using the app — your favorites, your taste profile (the genres you have viewed), your puzzle progress and your language choice — is stored only on your device. We do not run a server of our own, and this content is never uploaded, shared or shown to anyone else. You can remove your favorites and reset your taste profile at any time from inside the app; deleting the app removes everything.

The app relies on third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device — for example to deliver content, serve advertising, measure app usage or report crashes. Their privacy policies are linked below:

Advertising and Tracking

The app may display ads served by AdMob. On iOS, the app asks for your permission through the system App Tracking Transparency prompt before it uses the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline, ads may still appear but are not personalised with that identifier. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Log Data

If an error occurs while you use the Service, we may collect data and information about your device through third-party products ("Log Data"). Log Data may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when using the Service, the time and date of use, and other statistics. Log Data never contains the content you create in the app.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. Websites you visit send them to your browser, and they are stored on your device.

The Service does not use cookies directly. Third-party code and libraries used by the app — including the embedded YouTube player — may use cookies to collect information and improve their services. You can choose to accept or refuse these cookies; if you refuse them, some parts of the Service may not work.

Service Providers

We may work with third-party companies and individuals in order to:

These third parties may have access to the information described above only to carry out the tasks assigned to them, and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Security

We use commercially acceptable means to protect the information handled by the Service. However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to Other Sites

The Service may contain links to other sites. Following a third-party link takes you to a site we do not operate, so we strongly recommend reading the privacy policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, please contact us so we can take the necessary action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page, so please review it periodically.
